Media relations is an important aspect of advocacy. Knowing just when, and how, to use the media in an advoacy campaign can make a big dfference to whether a campaign succeeds or fails.

By the end of the media relations course, participants should be able

  • To determine whether and when to use the media
  • To consider how best to use the media and which media to use
  • To understand and be able to prepare media relations strategies
  • To raise awareness of the skills needed to engage with the media
